Coffee in Chocolate-Dipped Ice Cream Cones May Be the Best Idea Ever
No doubt about it. People do a lot of crazy things with lattes. They put them in avocados and carrots. They make them with activated charcoal and live blue algae. But a cafe in Japan is rocking the best latte idea yet: Latte in chocolate-dipped ice cream cones.
Just take a minute to savor the very idea of that.
Thanks to Instagram, you can feast your eyes on the coffee-riffic handiwork of the baristas at Coffee Cone Tokyo as well. (Others have had the same idea, but if hashtags are to be trusted, these smiling caffeine-in-a-cone delights are not only pretty — and probably pretty tasty — but organic, too.)
Here’s one in a chocolate-and-rainbow-sprinkle-dipped waffle cone, and another with matcha. This unusual one features stars. These look particularly sweet seen from a distance, side by side.
And don’t worry if you’re not a coffee fan. Despite its moniker, Coffee Cone Tokyo serves regular ice cream cones as well. Well, maybe not regular cones. Its soft-serve delights are unusually sumptuous looking.
Come to think of it, it’s possible that everything looks better on a rainbow-sprinkled, chocolate-dipped ice cream cone. Or at least a latte things do.
